Short List of Research Interests
 
  • Statistical models for designing and interpreting experiments and quasi-experiments, development and interpretation of data analytic techniques, including especially regression and structural equation (causal, path analytic, latent variable, etc.) models.
  • Current research focuses primarily on individual differences in personality and the temperamental bases of emotion and mood.
  • Additional areas of interest include fairness in employment practices and statistical methods for the detection of discrimination, social judgment processes and social cognition, models of information use in judgment and decision making in both applied and laboratory settings, judgments about responsibility and appropriate punishment for criminal offenses.
