Christie Charles has been working as an Instructor in the Psychology Department for more than 10 years. Over the summer, she fulfilled one of her long-time goals when she earned her Ph.D. in Psychology from Walden University after successfully defending her dissertation, entitled "Work-Family Conflict: Does Romance Matter?" last spring.

Dr. Charles previously earned both B.S. (1999) and M.S. (2003) degrees from UL Lafayette.

The department is very proud of Dr. Charles on her accomplishment.
