| The Counselor Education program at UL offers specializations in rehabilitation counseling, community counseling, and school counseling. Graduates are awarded a Master of Science in Counselor Education. | |||||||||||||||||||

| Graduates of the program are qualified to take the examination administered by the State of Louisiana to be licensed as Vocational Rehabilitation Counselors and Licensed Professional Counselors. | |||||||||||||||||||

| Applicants to the graduate program must satisfy admission requirements for the Graduate School and Counselor Education Program. |
