The focus of the Stress, Coping, and Wellness Laboratory is to examine the relationships between health, stress and coping. Health matters studied in this lab could include disease, health practices, or risk factors. Stress and coping are important predictors of health status and life satisfaction.
Specifically, as a counseling psychologist, we are interested in helping people to develop skills and acquire knowledge that help them lead more satisfying lives both physically and mentally. Hopefully, the research produced by this lab will help others to improve life satisfaction.
