Here are the student organizations within the Department of Psychology.
Psi Chi is the national honor society in psychology whose purpose is to recognize and promote excellence in the science and application of psychology in terms of encouraging, stimulating, and maintaining excellence in scholarship and advancing the science of psychology.

Psychology Colloquium (Psy Co)
PSY CO is the Psychology Department's student organization for all psychology majors and minors. The purposes of the organization are to render service to the community, to promote student collegiality and collaboration, to promote familiarity with the professional aspects of the discipline, and to encourage the development of faculty and student relationships.

In additional, psychology students have been actively engaged in campus-wise student organizations, including:
- V-Day Lafayette
- Grief Awareness Society
- NAMI on campus
- Autism society of Acadiana
- Regional professional organizations, including Southeastern Psychological Association and Southwestern Psychological Association.
