The University of Louisiana at Lafayette is searching for a Visiting Assistant Professor for the 2021-2022 academic year (with the possibility of renewal for additional years) with expertise in quantitative methods. Specialization can be in any area of psychology, provided the candidate can teach psychological statistics courses to both undergraduate and master’s-level graduate students. The teaching load is three classes a semester. Candidates should be prepared to engage in research activities and to assist with academic advising and other service activities. Candidates should have already earned a PhD, or expect to do so by August 2021.

UL Lafayette, the largest school in the University of Louisiana System, is located in the heart of Louisiana’s Cajun country. The psychology department includes 18 full-time faculty members, approximately 650 undergraduate majors seeking bachelor of science degrees with concentrations in psychology and psychology pre-med, and approximately 30 graduate students in our pre-doctoral general psychology masters program.
