Psychology Requirements

Please note that the Psychology Major at UL Lafayette is only appropriate for students who can attend classes on campus during normal business hours. We are not set up to accommodate students who require a fully online schedule.

To graduate with a bachelor's degree in psychology, you must complete a minimum of 36 hours of psychology coursework and pass with a C or better. In addition, all general education requirements and electives must be completed.

All psychology students are required to declare a minor, as well. All minors require at least 18 hours in a given subject, although some (e.g., biology) require more hours. See the list of minors approved by the College of Liberal Arts.
