Psychology Critical Courses

Students must earn a C or better in ENGL 101 and 102, STAT 214, and all PSYC courses.

One critical course sequence is MATH 105 (or equivalent substitute), followed by STAT 214, followed by PSYC 315, followed by PSYC 415 or 442, as each course is a prerequisite for the subsequent course.

PSYC 315 (Experimental Psychology I) is one of the more challenging courses in the psychology curriculum, and students are encouraged to take advantages of tutoring and study groups if they anticipate struggling in this course.
