This past summer, Dr. Emily Sandozed was one of five UL Lafayette faculty members honored with Eminent Faculty Awards.

The Distinguished Professor Award recognizes tenured faculty members with a minimum of 8 years of service at UL Lafayette, who have a record of robust research, scholarship, or creative works; significant publications; effective teaching; significant professional service; and significant committee work or other contributions to campus life and the community.

Dr. Emily Sandoz has been on the faculty of the Psychology Department since 2010. She holds the Emma Louise LeBlanc Burguieres/BORSF Professorship in Social Sciences and serves as the Graduate Coordinator for the department. Dr. Sancoz is a licensed clinical psychologist and directs the University’s Louisiana Contextual Science Research Group.
